MacMore Trainer Position at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
MacMore, headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, is seeking a Trainer to join our team for an exciting opportunity with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Our mission is to support federal programs and empower individuals to succeed in their careers while addressing critical challenges.

Role Overview
As a Training Specialist, you will impact emergency response preparedness for events such as hurricanes, wildfires, and floods. Your expertise will enable personnel to effectively utilize essential systems and tools, improving response efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training materials, including presentations, worksheets, user guides, and exercises for onboarding and advanced system use.
- Design and manage training schedules, agendas, and delivery plans for various system versions.
- Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions for government personnel, technical users, and emergency teams.
- Analyze and report on training metrics, including course completion, feedback, technical issues, and attendance.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, development, and management teams to keep training aligned with system updates and security protocols.
- Maintain and update training documentation per federal standards and DoD procedures.
- Ensure training programs evolve with system upgrades and emergency response protocols.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years of training experience, with a Bachelor's degree, or 7 years of experience with an Associate’s degree.
- Must have one of the following certifications: IAT-II, A+CE, Network+ CE, CND, or CCNA Security, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to create engaging training materials for diverse audiences.
- Experience managing training schedules and agendas, both classroom and virtual.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience training on emergency management, mission-critical, or DoD systems.
- Knowledge of federal IT systems, cybersecurity standards (e.g., RMF, STIGs), and documentation standards.
- Strong communication and instructional design skills, with the ability to simplify complex systems for diverse users.
