Job summary

Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. - McAlester, OK seeks a Technical Trainer to provide technical and MSHA safety training to service technicians and customers.

The role includes creating hands-on classroom training materials, delivering product training across equipment lines, and traveling to branches to ensure consistent on-site instruction. Ideal candidates have five years of heavy equipment repair experience, strong knowledge of engines and hydraulics, and proficiency with Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of technical/heavy equipment repair experience.
• Proficient knowledge of engines, powertrains, hydraulics, electrical, and braking systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Acts as product expert to provide training to service technicians and customers on how to properly repair and maintain equipment.
• Develops and delivers hands-on training in a classroom setting
• Develops training materials and training practices that support productive adult learning
• Delivers aerial platform safety training for rental and service personnel
• Provides MSHA safety training for service personnel, sales personnel, and Product Support Sales Reps
• Travels 70% or more to each branch to provide training
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• Ensures consistent and reliable on-site attendance
