Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. seeks a Technical Trainer to lead training for service technicians and customers on heavy-equipment repairs across multiple locations.

The role includes hands-on and classroom instruction, developing training materials, and delivering safety training including MSHA and OSHA standards. The ideal candidate has five years of experience in heavy equipment repair, strong knowledge of engines and hydraulics, and is willing to travel extensively to branches and technical

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of heavy equipment repair experience.
• Proficient knowledge of engines, powertrains, hydraulics, electrical and braking systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to other branches, technical schools and events.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Train service technicians and customers on equipment repairs.
• Deliver hands-on and classroom training.
• Develop training materials and methods for adult learning.
• Deliver aerial platform safety training.
• Provide MSHA safety training for staff and reps.
• Provide OSHA safety training for customers on request.
• Travel 70% or more to each Kirby Smith branch.
• Maintain consistent on-site attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
