Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a technical trainer to deliver training programs and coach technicians across our repair centers. You will assess current capabilities, recommend classes, and work with leadership to raise technical standards and safety, while ensuring documentation and adherence to WOW plan.

You will travel to repair centers, develop clinics, and keep up-to-date with repair process advancements, contributing to a high-performing, safety-conscious network.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of independently planning and organizing work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate, motivate and cooperate with all levels of staff.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including Internet, Google platform, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in delivering technical training and coaching technicians preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training programs.
• Coach repair center staff, especially technicians.
• Visit repair centers to assess technical capabilities.
• Provide coaching to technicians to improve skills and efficiencies.
• Monitor and coach for compliance with QC processes.
• Develop training clinics and ensure consistent messaging across the network.
