Base pay range

$63,700.00/yr - $115,150.00/yr

Description

Leidos has an opportunity for a Technical Trainer. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with an engineering and instructional team supporting training and deployment of software in the cloud for US Air Force bases worldwide. Position requires US citizenship and a current DoD Secret Security Clearance.

This position is telework, but the candidate should be able to visit SIPR sites as needed to access classified systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain proficiency in Leidos software, staying updated on new features and mentoring staff.
• Prepare and deliver operator training virtually and in classrooms at military bases, coordinating scheduling and logistics.
• Work with military POCs to tailor training to their operational needs.
• Create and update training materials, including videos, guides, and online content.
• Assist with initial software setup and data configuration at deployment sites.
• Provide post-deployment support as a Field Service Representative, troubleshooting and advising users.
• Gather user feedback for software improvements and monitor training portals.
• Use cloud platforms to demonstrate features and answer user questions.
• Collaborate with development and training teams in an agile environment.
• Lead projects like new feature training, server maintenance, and train-the-trainer sessions.
• Support Help Desk activities, troubleshooting, and user support, potentially traveling to sites.
• Train developers on front-end software use to improve support response.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience or equivalent, with at least 4 years in military training.
• Strong understanding of military operations such as EM, EOC, C2, Airfield Ops, ACE, COOP.
• Experience training end users on USAF software and maintaining training materials.
• Experience with technology integration and support.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship and passport required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C2IMERA or similar software.
• Project management experience with Atlassian tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development.
• Proximity to Langley AFB or similar sites.
• Knowledge of JADC2 or ABMS.
• Certification or experience with ArcGIS.
