Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Talent Acquisition Sourcer II (or Senior) to join our team at the Long Beach, CA headquarters. This on-site role emphasizes building pipelines for aerospace and engineering roles, proactive outreach, and close collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers.

You will leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools to identify passive talent, conduct initial screenings, and contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives for high-priority roles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time experience as a dedicated Talent Acquisition Sourcer
• Proven expertise sourcing for technical and niche engineering roles
• Advanced proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, Indeed, and other sourcing platforms
• Experience with ATS such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday Recruiting
• Track record of building pipelines for passive candidates through creative sourcing and engagement campaigns

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for technical roles using advanced tools
• Own search strategy development and candidate assessments
• Engage passive candidates through outreach and relationship building
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles
• Conduct high-level screening and interviews to assess fit
• Provide market intelligence and compensation benchmarks
• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers on candidate personas
• Champion diversity sourcing strategies and candidate experience
• Contribute to recruitment marketing and events
• Track and report sourcing metrics and optimize processes
