Job summary

Markon seeks a Technical Systems Project Manager to support an Intelligence Community client in Chantilly, Virginia. You will coordinate planning, engineering, logistics, and deployment of a new enterprise IT platform with mission partners and vendors.

You will translate stakeholder needs into executable technical plans and guide projects through implementation, while managing cost, schedule, and performance across multiple stakeholders. Occasional CONUS travel is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with FSP is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with 8+ years; OR no degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience performing technical project coordination or management, achieving program milestones and resolving issues.
• Experience supporting IT system development and implementation.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent project requirements while monitoring cost, schedule, and performance.
• Experience briefing stakeholders and varying levels of management on technical requirements, project status, and timelines.
• Willingness and ability to travel on an infrequent, as-needed basis, primarily CONUS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, engineering, logistics, implementation, and deployment of the new IT platform.
• Develop, coordinate, and execute technical implementation plans across sponsor organizations and vendors.
• Document dependencies, requirements, decisions, and action items across stakeholders.
• Define and document technical requirements to address operational needs.
• Maintain project plans and schedules across project lifecycle stages.
• Monitor cost, schedule, performance, and risk; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain technical and project documentation across teams.
• Contribute to resource planning and cost-estimating strategies for future projects.
• Evaluate issues and adapt plans based on cost, schedule, quality, or performance changes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to navigate policies and identify viable paths forward.
• Provide regular status, requirements, timelines, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
