As a Customer & Technical Support Intern, you will assist the team in providing support to end users. You will help troubleshoot basic technical problems, respond to customer inquiries, assist with orders, and learn how our products and systems work. This role is designed to give you hands-on experience in customer service, technical support, and office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls, emails, faxes, and voicemails from customers in a timely manner.
- Help document and track customer inquiries, orders, and technical issues.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting of software and hardware under guidance from senior team members.
- Learn to properly enter customer information, order details, and billing/shipping data.
- Support the team in monitoring order status, delayed orders, and follow-ups.
- Escalate issues to senior staff when needed.
- Contribute ideas to improve team processes and workflows.
- Promote a positive image of ASSA ABLOY when interacting with customers.
- Participate in on-call rotation occasionally, including after hours or weekends, with guidance.

- Basic technical aptitude; interest in troubleshooting software and hardware.

Education & Experience
- High School graduate or GED and some college coursework required.
- Some customer service or technical support experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Windows, MS Office, or other basic software is helpful.
- Interest in learning about networking, ERP systems, and technical support processes.

- Ability to communicate clearly on the phone and in writing.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
