Job summary

SavvyMoney is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to own production issues reported by partner institutions. You will diagnose across integrations, work with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success, and drive issues to resolution.

You will troubleshoot REST APIs, analyze logs and SQL data, and communicate status with partners while maintaining compliance for regulated financial data. The role offers a hybrid schedule in Dublin, CA and remote options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical support for a SaaS or platform product.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of REST APIs and JSON.
• Proficiency with SQL for data investigation.
• Experience with log analysis and monitoring/observability tooling.
• Excellent knowledge of consumer lending and deposit banking with ability to translate business language into technical root cause.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Comfort handling regulated consumer financial data and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Own partner-reported production issues end to end: triage, diagnose root cause, resolve or upscale, and communicate status until the issue is closed.
• Investigate across the stack: logs, API traffic, database queries, partner integrations.
• Keep partners informed with clear, timely updates and meet response/resolution targets.
• Monitor live integrations to catch problems early and tune alerts/dashboards to reduce noise.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product on issues requiring code/product changes; write reproducible bug reports.
• Turn recurring issues into permanent fixes via runbooks, knowledge base, automation, or monitoring improvements.
