Job summary

ATC is seeking a Customer Service Technical Support Representative to serve as the primary technical interface for customers, distributors, installers, and dealers regarding remanufactured engines and transmissions.

You will provide real-time diagnostic support, validate proper installations, and manage warranty claims in line with company policies. The role emphasizes reducing returns and improving first-time fix rates through precise guidance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Automotive Technology or ASE certification with equivalent experience.
• 3–7+ years of experience in automotive service and repair (engine/transmission focus preferred).
• Experience in technical support or field service within remanufacturing or OEM/dealer environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone and email-based technical support for remanufactured engines and transmissions.
• Assist installers and technicians with installation procedures and best practices.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues; identify root causes.
• Guide customers through validation before authorizing RMAs and manage warranty claims.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations on repeat or systemic issues.
• Maintain call logs and documentation; act as primary liaison with distributors, dealers, and repair facilities.
