Job summary

ATC is seeking a Customer Service Technical Support Representative to serve as the primary technical interface for customers, distributors, installers, and dealers regarding remanufactured engines and transmissions. You will provide real-time diagnostic guidance, ensure proper installation, and manage warranty claims in line with policy.

The role focuses on reducing returns, improving first-time fix rates, and protecting warranty cost exposure through accurate guidance and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or ASE-certified automotive experience required.
• 3–7+ years in automotive service, tech support, or field service.
• Experience with remanufacturing or OEM/dealer environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone and email-based technical support for remanufactured engines and transmissions.
• Assist installers/technicians with installation procedures and ECU relearn.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues; guide validation before RMA.
• Evaluate warranty claims for eligibility; verify installation and mileage data.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering on systemic issues.
• Maintain accurate call logs and customer documentation.
