Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an on-site Technical Support Engineering Coordinator in St. Louis to engage with Aclara customers in water, gas and electric utilities. You will respond to and resolve technical issues, triage product lines, and maintain CRM records to meet service-level agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent with related coursework.
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and UNIX/Linux environments.
• One year of customer-facing support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage support for Aclara product lines (software head end, collector, links, endpoint, integrations).
• Update and maintain information on customer issues in the CRM system.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance agreements through timely responses and resolutions.
• Own customer issues and provide updates to customers throughout resolution.
• Communicate technical information clearly to users at all levels.
• Contribute to knowledgebase content to aid self-service and staff training.
• Troubleshoot issues involving TCP/IP, RF, serial, hardware and firmware.
• Perform root-cause analyses and drive issues to resolution with incomplete data.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and improve products.
• Develop SQL queries to identify performance issues in SQL Server/Oracle.
• Create scripts and tasks for solutions and workarounds.
• Be available 24/7 on-call as needed.
