Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities include:
  • Answer customer technical inquiries via phone, email, and web, effectively communicating with customers and internal teams under pressure.
  • Document client calls/cases in the CRM database, troubleshoot issues, replicate problems in the lab, and research complex issues.
  • Manage customer expectations and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Duplicate reported problems in the lab and escalate issues to the Sustaining Engineering team as needed.
  • Test software fixes received from engineering in the lab before issuing patches.
  • Create and complete departmental and individual goals, fulfilling all customer service requests.
Skills and Experience:
  • BSc or MSc in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies and protocols.
  • Understanding of SNMP monitoring and management.
  • Good knowledge of Linux/UNIX servers.
  • Scripting skills are a plus.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proven technical troubleshooting ability.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Additional proficiency in European languages is desirable.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent use of mouse and keyboard.
  • Frequent phone usage.
  • Occasional lifting up to 5 kg.

Flexibility for shift rotations, including weekends and public holidays, is required.
