Job summary

IBM Software is seeking a Technical Support Spring Co-op for 16 weeks, offering hands-on experience with IBM software solutions. The role requires active enrollment in a BA/BS program, ability to pause coursework, and full-time availability (40 hours/week) during Spring 2027 (Jan 19 - May 7).

Eligible candidates may join IBM in a full-time role after degree completion, with a focus on customer satisfaction and problem solving. Hybrid work arrangement and relocation support as applicable.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program at application time and planning to return after co-op.
• Able to start full-time between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI or related field.

Responsibilities

• Drive resolution of client product issues by collaborating with global support and engineering teams.
• Analyze diagnostics, help optimize product usage and recommend solutions.
• Create and update knowledge base articles to share insights.
• Educate clients on product usage and best practices.
• Work with Engineering and Product teams to improve IBM solutions.
• Participate in proactive support activities such as upgrade planning and product adoption.
