Job summary

Seal Analytical is seeking a Technical Support Chemist to join our US Technical Support team. The role involves on-site instrument installations and trainings across the United States, with potential international travel.

You will troubleshoot via phone and email, support method development, and assist with instrument testing and demonstrations. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, have strong analytical lab skills, and enjoy fast-paced teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or closely related field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good analytical chemistry laboratory skills.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques such as BOD, COD, Metals, Colorimetric Inorganic nutrient analysis.
• Experience with discrete, flow analyzers (FIA, SFA) and/or BOD robotics.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of time (US focus).

Responsibilities

• On-site & virtual installations and trainings at laboratories around the US
• Telephone and email troubleshooting for customers
• Assist in development of analytical methods
• Instrument and software testing
• Create customer procedures for effective use of instrumentation
• Attend conferences, demonstrations and related events
