Job summary

Polynt Composites USA seeks a Technical Assistance Representative/Chemist for the Composite Resins technology area. The role supports customers across the Western US and Western Canada, providing technical guidance, product recommendations, and training to ensure successful use of Polynt products.

Responsibilities include conducting trials, processing reviews, troubleshooting, and communicating results to commercial and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in chemistry, chemical engineering or related science/engineering field.
• Minimum of 2 years related industry experience in polyester and vinyl ester thermoset resins, other thermoset resins and/or gel coats.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with technical questions and product usage to drive successful applications.
• Conduct product testing, benchmarking, and trials; document results and communicate to customers and R&D.
• Provide training to customers and Polynt personnel; demonstrate processes and best practices.
• Process review and troubleshooting; diagnose routine issues and recommend improvements to customers.
• Write clear call and customer visit reports; maintain accurate records for quality management.
• Develop knowledge of a business unit and engage with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
