Job summary

Polynt Composites USA seeks a Technical Assistance Representative/Chemist for composite resins to support customers across the western United States and western Canada. You will collaborate with commercial, operations and R&D to provide product recommendations, testing, training and troubleshooting.

The role requires a BA/BS in chemistry or related field and at least 2 years in polyester and vinyl ester resins or gel coats.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in chemistry, chemical engineering or related science/engineering field.
• Minimum of 2 years related industry experience in polyester and vinyl ester thermoset resins, other thermoset resins and/or gel coats.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product usage, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Provide training to customers and Polynt personnel.
• Conduct product trials and document performance.
• Review processes with customers and propose technical improvements.
• Prepare call reports and customer letters.
• Develop knowledge in one or more chemistries/processes.

Education

B.A. or B.S. in chemistry, chemical engineering or related science/engineering field
