CEC Entertainment, LLC, the operator of Chuck E. Cheese, seeks a Technical Support Bench Tech at our Corporate Support Center in Irving, Texas. This role reports to the CEO and supports field services and repair operations.

The ideal candidate has strong soldering skills, mechanical aptitude, and solid communication abilities, with 1+ year of bench tech experience and the ability to handle 8-hour shifts with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Verbal communication skills and typing/data entry at about 40 WPM.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent written communication.
• Analytical skills.
• Soldering proficiency.
• Customer relations/service with professional demeanor and appearance.
• At least 1 year of experience as a bench technician.

Responsibilities

• Supports field services and operations in line with corporate objectives.
• Conducts quality repairs on Electronics Repairs inventory items.
• Assembles sound and other kit assemblies to support the field.
• Manages shipping and receiving of all exchange parts.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor or Corporate Management Team.

Exempt: Commission potential from $0.50 to $10.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass you sell! Paid out bi-weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).

Non-Exempt: Commission potential from $2.00 to $8.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.60 to $2.40 for each Fun Pass you sell! Paid out bi-weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).

Job Description

CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Adventure World restaurants, is seeking aTechnical Support Bench Tech. This exciting opportunity will be based at our Corporate Support Center in Irving, Texas, and report to the CEO.

Essential Functions:

• Performs all duties and responsibilities in support of field services and operations. Supports the Corporate Objectives, including: "If you are not serving the Guest, serve someone who is." Support our customer (Operations and Field Technical Managers).


• Conduct Quality Repairs on items in the Electronics Repairs inventory list.


• Assemble various sound and other kit assemblies to support the field.


• Manage the shipping and receiving of all exchange parts.


• Perform other duties and assist co-workers as directed by the immediate supervisor or other members of our Corporate Management Team.

Physical Demands:

To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 - 50 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8-hour shift, with occasional overtime.
