Job summary

INEOS Aromatics is seeking a Technical Superintendent to lead operations, coaching engineering teams and ensuring safe, compliant plant performance. You will supervise Optimization Engineers, Senior Process Engineers, and Laboratory staff, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include MoC reviews, process safety leadership, and driving continuous improvement across reliability, safety, and cost performance in coordination with site leadership.

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years in a chemical manufacturing facility or related process industry.
• Expertise in process engineering, plant optimization, regulatory compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of safe operating limits and design envelopes.
• Review and approve MoC activities and technical modifications prior to startup.
• Manage day-to-day activities of Optimization and Laboratory teams.
• Drive continuous improvement for safety, compliance, customer service and cost.
• Provide leadership for resources supporting optimization, reliability, and projects.
• Oversee site reliability reporting and corrective actions for interruptions.
