INEOS Aromatics in South Carolina seeks a Technical Superintendent to provide leadership for daily plant operations, overseeing Optimization Engineers, Senior Process Engineers, and Laboratory personnel. You will partner with the Operations Manager to drive performance, safety, and reliability across the site.
The role requires guiding teams, enforcing Life-Saving Rules, and delivering continuous improvement initiatives to meet contract targets and business objectives.

The Position:
The Technical Superintendent will provide leadership, coaching, resources, boundary conditions and motivation to help operating teams successfully accomplish performance contract targets and objectives. Supervises Optimization Engineers, Senior Process Engineers, and Laboratory personnel. Works with the Operations Manager to oversee daily plant operations and reports to the Operations Manager.

This position and all positions within the INEOS Aromatics organization require commitment to learning and following INEOS Aromatics principles, processes, behaviors, and Life-Saving Rules. Provides leadership and support to promote adherence to the 20 Principles for Managing Behavioral Safety and Process Safety and Life-Saving Rules. Leads by example through incident investigations, observations, and audits. Completes corrective actions arising from these activities.
