Williams seeks a Technical Specialist III/IV (Mechanical Integrity) to resolve complex issues, maintain data integrity, and support pipeline operations across multiple offices including Cambridge, OH. You will mentor teammates and coordinate with partners to ensure regulatory compliance and safe, efficient equipment performance.

The role requires the ability to read engineering documents, plan maintenance, and apply risk-based decisions in a dynamic industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate degree or equivalent experience and minimum six years in oil & gas.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering and ten years in field operations or technical specialty.
• Certifications: API 510 and API 570 are advantageous.

As Technical Specialist Sr, you will use innovation and judgement to resolve sophisticated problems, working closely with multiple company partners to ensure accurate and available data. Project planning and the ability to collaborate are keys to success in this role and safety is of utmost importance!## ## **Responsibilities/Expectations:*** Performs moderately difficult assignments to ensure system integrity, support pipeline operations, maintain compliance and maintain facility equipment* Troubleshoots/resolves sophisticated problems using technical evaluation, innovation and judgment* Develops, presents and trains internal and external partners; may mentor others* Participates in project planning and works closely with company partners* Leads development and tasks associated with operations, equipment maintenance, technical standards and/or governmental requirements* Reads, understands and evaluates engineering design documents, contracts and agreements* Other duties as assigned## ## **Education/Years of Experience:*** Required: Associates degree or equivalent experience and minimum of six (6) years' experience in oil & gas industry* Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field and minimum ten (10) years of progressive experience in field operations/construction or other technical specialty field## ## **Physical and Environment Work Requirements:**Must be willing to:* Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces* Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed* Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time* Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)* Use hand tools## ## **Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:*** Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as needed* May be required to work overtime, 10-12 hour shifts and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays## ## **Other Requirements:*** Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record* Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills* Candidates should possess current API 510 and API 570 certifications, along with demonstrated experience in Mechanical Integrity, inspection planning, risk-based decision making, and asset integrity management.
