Job summary

Williams is seeking an Operations Technician (I or II) for our Delta, PA site to support pipeline operations and facility equipment. You will read drawings, analyze data, perform maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and governmental requirements while documenting activity and performance.

The role requires a High School diploma with two years’ related oil and gas experience for II, or six months’ experience for I, plus ability to work extended hours and travel between Williams

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; relevant technical training preferred.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with safety and compliance in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of permits and compliance, accurate record-keeping and a focus on safety are keys to success in this role!Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.**Responsibilities/Expectations:*** Safely maintains equipment and supports pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings, inspecting/supervising equipment and maintaining operation/technical standards and/or governmental requirements* Analyzes data and collaborates with others to find solutions to technical or operational problems* Follows all Company policies and applies appropriate operating and maintenance procedures* Acquires knowledge of and adheres to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets* Maintains general knowledge of site/location/equipment and permitting* Completes assigned reports, logs and maintains accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment* Other duties as assigned**Operations Technician II**## **Education/Years of Experience:*** Required: High School Diploma/GED and minimum two (2) years’ related experience and minimum of one (1) year experience as a technician in the oil and gas industry* Preferred: Associates or two-year technical degree**Operations Technician I**## **Education/Years of Experience:*** Required: High School Diploma/GED* Preferred: Associates or two-year technical degree; minimum six (6) months mechanical, technical, or controls systems experience in the oil and gas industry or operations technician summer internship with Associates Degree**Physical and Environment Work Requirements:**Must be willing to:* Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces* Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed* Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time* Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)* Use hand tools**Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:*** Must be located within a 45-minute drive of the station - 2204 Bryansville Rd Delta, PA 17314* Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arises* May be required to work overtime, 10-12 hour shifts and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays**Other Requirements:*** Maintains residence within a 45-minute response radius of the assigned station to support timely callouts and operational needs - 2204 Bryansville Rd Delta, PA 17314* Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record* Demonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes* Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills, Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers#LI-GC1 We invest in our people in ways that actually show up in your day-to-day, not just on paper.
