Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team. You will work with the sales group to identify customer needs and develop technical solutions for bearings and power transmission systems.

You will translate complex concepts into customer-focused proposals, support installation and maintenance, and travel up to 30% to client sites and trade shows as needed. With a strong engineering background and solution selling approach, you’ll help customers improve equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or 3+ years of related technical experience.
• Solid understanding of bearing types, shaft alignment, lubrication, and power transmission systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs via consultative selling, site visits, and evaluations.
• Present technical and product solutions based on application specs.
• Prepare accurate quotations with pricing, lead times and proposals.
• Collaborate with Engineering to design custom solutions and prepare quotes.
• Review drawings and documentation to support product selection.
• Support customers during installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Participate in trade shows and customer seminars to promote capabilities.
