Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking a Sales Engineer to partner with the sales team, identifying customer needs and translating engineering concepts into customer-focused solutions for bearings and drive systems. You will support quotations, product recommendations, and application-specific proposals to drive sales growth.

Ideal candidates will blend engineering expertise with a solutions-selling mindset, travel up to 30%, and collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or 3+ years in a related technical role.
• Strong understanding of bearing types, failure modes, shaft alignment, lubrication principles, gears, motors and power transmission systems.
• Proficient in MS Office; ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs through consultative selling, site visits, equipment evaluations and application analysis
• Present technical and product solutions based on application specifications within bearing and drive solutions
• Prepare accurate and timely customer quotations, including product recommendations, pricing, lead times and application-specific solution proposals to support sales growth and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to design custom or modified solutions and prepare sales quotes for customers
• Develop, review and interpret technical drawings, layouts and engineering documentation to support product selection, custom solution design and effective communication with customers and internal teams
• Support customers during installation, troubleshooting and maintenance, ensuring proper product selection and performance
• Participate in trade shows, training sessions and customer seminars to promote company capabilities and strengthen market presence
