Job summary

Konami Gaming, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Technical Solutions Engineer III to troubleshoot escalated issues in the SYNKROS application, its interfaces, and the Oracle database. You will resolve complex problems and collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to drive stable solutions.

You will write PL/SQL, use GIT/JIRA, and coordinate with R&D to stay current on new features and performance improvements. Occasional travel to client sites in the Southwest is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree accepted.
• 24 months of experience in software engineering or closely related role.
• Experience in application design, implementation, maintenance and support.
• Proficient in Java with Oracle DB backend and SQL scripting.
• Familiar with GIT, JIRA and Zendesk for project tracking and support.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues related to the SYNKROS app, interfaces, and database.
• Communicate with customers and vendors to address SYNKROS-related issues.
• Report discrepancies or changes to senior management and submit bug fixes to R&D.
• Maintain ongoing communication with R&D about new functionality from development cycles.
• Develop and utilize SQL scripts for SYNKROS issue investigation, resolution and reporting.
• Occasional travel to client locations within the Southwest Region; limited travel.
