Job summary

Konami Gaming, Inc. is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer II to join our Las Vegas team. The role requires strong Java and SQL skills and experience with SYNKROS databases.

You will work with Sales, Compliance, PM, R&D, and SQA to maintain and troubleshoot customer code while adhering to regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include issue resolution, maintenance/upgrades, and contributing to new tools that improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficient Java programming including OO, JVM, and I/O.
• Strong SQL skills applied to SYNKROS database.
• Experience with Linux basics and shell environments.
• Familiar with API design and SOA principles.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose escalated SYNKROS issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Compliance, PM, R&D, SQA).
• Perform SYNKROS maintenance, upgrades, and bug reporting.
• Provide after-hours support for critical situations.
• Develop tools to enable faster resolutions within Customer Service.
