Job summary

Konami Gaming, Inc. seeks a Technical Solutions Engineer II to join our team in Las Vegas.

You will handle Level II Customer Service Support for the SYNKROS system, diagnose complex issues, and coordinate with internal groups such as R&D, Sales, Compliance, and PM to maintain and enhance customer code and system functionality. The role requires strong Java and SQL expertise, collaboration across departments, and after-hours availability for critical issues.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java with OO, JVM, I/O concepts.
• Strong SQL skills for SYNKROS database work.
• Experience with JDBC, Oracle or other RDBMS, SQLPlus.
• Familiarity with XML/HTML5 and Linux basics.
• Ability to design APIs and work with SOA and ORM.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Level II customer issues for SYNKROS app and databases.
• Troubleshoot escalated issues with SYNKROS interfaces or databases.
• Coordinate with customers/vendors and internal teams; report discrepancies to senior management.
• Handle after-hours critical situations.
• Perform SYNKROS maintenance: bug identification and coordination with R&D; upgrades with 100% success.
• Maintain communication with R&D on new functionality.
• Suggest bug fixes and track to customer service.
• Work on special projects and develop new tools for CS team.
• Other related duties as assigned.
