Job summary

ADDMAN Engineering seeks a Technical Solutions Engineer to support the Polymer Division. The role leads proposal and estimating efforts for parts ranging from prototypes to high-volume production, covering aerospace, commercial launch and defense sectors.

You will collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability, pricing accuracy and timely quotations, while maintaining documentation and pricing history in enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quoting specialist with engineering experience.
• Attention to detail when investigating RFQs, parts, specs and sources.
• Proficient in CAD systems such as SolidWorks, CATIA or NX.

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal and costing process for manufacturing quotes.
• Analyze requirements, materials, labor, machine time and tooling.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates using pricing models and costing tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to validate manufacturability and lead times.
• Generate formal customer quotations within required turnaround times.
• Maintain quote records and pricing history in internal systems.
• Communicate quote clarifications and production capabilities to stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of quote accuracy and turnaround times.
• Assist with order handoff: quotes to production planning and order entry.
