Job summary

ADDMAN Engineering LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician to support our plastics printing operation. You will set up, run, and monitor 3D printers, perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document findings to enable continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include reducing downtime, performing basic quality analysis with calipers/micrometers, participating in lean six sigma projects, and maintaining safe, organized work areas while supporting inventory and shipping tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail essential for quality.
• Experience with 3D printing, measurement tools, and documentation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and interact with teams.
• Proficiency with Excel/Office applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor 3D printers and related equipment.
• Identify root causes of downtime and implement solutions to maximize uptime.
• Drive scrap reduction using process improvement methods.
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain plant standards.
• Document issues and resolutions clearly for traceability.
• Conduct basic inspection using calipers/micrometers for quality validation.
• Support inventory, receiving, and shipping activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment in accordance with 5S.
• Participate in lean six sigma projects to improve OEE and quality.
• Adhere to safety policies and support continuous improvement.
