The purpose of the Geologist - Mining role is to collect, interpret, and generate geological information related to ore control safely and efficiently. The role involves controlling all geological definitions in the field, auditing operations, maintaining the integrity of block-outs, and supporting ore control with geological data, geological feature interpretation, and investigation of geological relationships with ore. The main duties include blasthole logging, pit mapping, muck characterization, geological modeling, and auditing mine activities. The role is 60% fieldwork and 40% office work.
