Job summary

Georg Fischer LLC is seeking a Technical Services Engineer who owns customer issues from report to resolution. You will research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions by following standard escalation procedures to the appropriate internal team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and 7–10 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering, with hands-on plastics tooling, equipment, and automation.

• Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Takes ownership of customer issues and sees problems through to resolution.
• Researches, diagnoses, troubleshoots and identifies solutions following standard escalation procedures.
• Provides technical information and analyzes customer complaints.
• Investigates customer issues using Six Sigma problem-solving to get to root cause.
• Provides feedback to R&D for new product development opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.
