Job summary

Georg Fischer LLC is seeking a skilled technician for injection molding production. You will start and shut down machines, assemble/dismantle molds, and set up robotics tooling to support timely manufacturing.

You’ll maintain documentation, ensure material traceability, and perform maintenance to minimize downtime. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, 2–5 years in manufacturing, and training completed within 18 months.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–5 years Manufacturing experience in a semi-skilled position preferred.
  • Completion of Company provided Basic Technical Training Course within 18 months.
  • Experience working in fast pace, high change environment.

Responsibilities

  • Starts and shuts down injection molding machines.
  • Assembles injection molds for production runs.
  • Removes and installs plastic injection molds in molding machines.
  • Sets up End of Arm tooling for robotic part removal.
  • Ensures materials traceability and prevents contamination.
  • Provides molded components to meet production schedules.
  • Maintains set-up records on tools, PM and run profiles.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic systems (up to 480V).
  • Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
