The Opportunity

Explore a rare opportunity with Komatsu!

We're inviting proficient HD Fitters to join us as Technical Service Representatives, delivering support across client sites throughout Queensland. As a key player, you'll have the option to oversee the fleet health of either of these fleets:

  • Komatsu Electric Wheel Loaders (WE1350, WE1850, WE2350)
  • Komatsu Electric Drive Trucks (730E, 830E, 930E)
  • Komatsu Loaders (WA900, WA1200), Excavators (PC4000 – PC5500)

As the go-to expert, you'll provide technical support to maintenance personnel, guiding them through fault finding, major component replacements, and best practices for maintenance and operations.

Role Located: On-site with the client for optimal support – various mine sites to choose from.

Remuneration: Base Salary + Vehicle + Bonus + Super + Phone + Laptop + Unlimited training courses

Key responsibilities:

  • Serves as primary liaison for Technical and Service information between the Customer and Komatsu
  • Offers on-site application support and maintenance advice for Komatsu products
  • Ensures compliance with global service policies, updating manuals and procedures
  • Conducts on-the-job training, assists in parts procurement, and supports warranty work
  • Maintains equipment standards, assists with integration into customer systems, and audits inventory
  • Reviews condition monitoring reports, provides regular and monthly reports to the manager

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Possess a trade qualification such as:
  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing Komatsu heavy equipment
  • Desirable extensive expertise on Komatsu mining equipment
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues, providing effective solutions
  • Familiarity with maintenance targets, including availability, reliability, parts management, and component life cycle management.
  • Proficiency in cultivating robust relationships with both internal teams and external customers
  • Promote high standards of customer service for Komatsu Products and Services
  • A commitment to HSE by demonstrating safe behaviour & HSE compliance at all times
