Job Description

StandardAero is seeking a Field Service Representative to join our Mobile Service Team. This role involves technical troubleshooting, engine maintenance, and repairs on gas turbine powered aircraft. The position is remote, based anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities
  1. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair engines and accessories on customer aircraft following manufacturer guidelines.
  2. Maintain professionalism and ensure work conforms to manufacturer specifications.
  3. Perform installation and attachment of engine components, including quick engine changes, propellers, and accessories.
  4. Monitor calibration of tools and equipment.
  5. Conduct inspections and certify work for airworthiness and release to service.
Position Requirements
  • Valid A&P license with technical knowledge of specific aircraft turbine engines (list provided in original description).
  • High school diploma or equivalent with technical training or apprenticeship.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Proper hand tools and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
Preferred Characteristics
  • Ability to tolerate noise and outdoor conditions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (70-90%) including international travel.
