Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
• Experience with water/wastewater treatment or process equipment desirable.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical service and troubleshooting at customer facilities.
• Monitor and optimize chemical treatment and wastewater processes.
• Support polymers, flocculants, coagulants and other specialty chemicals.
• Troubleshoot pumps, chemical feed systems, dosing equipment, and automation systems.
• Perform process evaluations, testing, and data collection to identify improvements.
• Work directly with operators, maintenance personnel, and engineering teams.
• Assist with installation, startup, and ongoing support of equipment.
• Provide customer training around chemical application, equipment operation, and safe handling.
• Document service activity and communicate recommendations to customers and internal teams.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with customer facilities.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, and laboratory teams when additional support is required.

Work Arrangement: Field-based IN West Texas, Preferred in San Antonio, Austin, or Lubbock, TX

Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Service Representative to support customers in the field across West Texas and ensure their chemical treatment programs and equipment are operating effectively. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with process equipment, solving problems, and building relationships with plant personnel. Our client is a specialty chemical solutions provider focused on improving solid-liquid separation, wastewater treatment, process efficiency, and environmental compliance, supplying coagulants, flocculants, and other specialty chemistries alongside chemical feed and polymer preparation equipment. Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Experience with water/wastewater treatment, industrial chemicals, process equipment, or field service is highly desirable.
• Understanding of pumps, chemical feed systems, dosing equipment, or process instrumentation is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting ability.
• Comfortable working independently and travelling extensively to customer facilities (60%+ travel across West Texas).
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to analyze process performance and recommend improvements.
• Safety-conscious and comfortable working in industrial environments.
