Job Description Summary:
Responsible for maintaining and providing technical service to renal units in the assigned area.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Provide technical support to clinical coordinator and marketing team in trials and installation.
- Work as a team with sales service to increase product penetration.
- Identify new and follow up on potential business opportunities.
- Assist customer service with technical clarification of customer orders.
- Ensure all services are carried out on time and efficiently.
- Educate hospital staff in maintenance of our machines.
- Provide technical support for the design of HD rooms.
- Maintain a database of all equipment, including trial and loan machines.
- Complete service reports for installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.
- Enter all service reports into the technical service database and keep hard copies filed regularly.
- Perform other projects as assigned by the Direct Superior.
- Obey health and safety guidelines as guided by the Crisis Management team when performing job duties inside or outside the organization.
- Comply with Fresenius Medical Care policies and company regulations.
Competencies (attitude, skills, typical qualifications and experience):
Education and Experience
- Preferably hold a Diploma 4 or Bachelor's degree, or a minimum of Diploma 3 in Electromedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Having an active Professional License as Electromedics (STR) is a plus.
- Possess 1-2 years of experience as a Technician in a Medical Devices company, or 3-6 months internship experience in a related field for fresh graduates.
- Willing to be placed in any area where the company operates and needs.
