Job description

Job Description Summary:

Responsible for maintaining and providing technical service to renal units in the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  1. Provide technical support to clinical coordinator and marketing team in trials and installation.
  2. Work as a team with sales service to increase product penetration.
  3. Identify new and follow up on potential business opportunities.
  4. Assist customer service with technical clarification of customer orders.
  5. Ensure all services are carried out on time and efficiently.
  6. Educate hospital staff in maintenance of our machines.
  7. Provide technical support for the design of HD rooms.
  8. Maintain a database of all equipment, including trial and loan machines.
  9. Complete service reports for installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.
  10. Enter all service reports into the technical service database and keep hard copies filed regularly.
  11. Perform other projects as assigned by the Direct Superior.
  12. Obey health and safety guidelines as guided by the Crisis Management team when performing job duties inside or outside the organization.
  13. Comply with Fresenius Medical Care policies and company regulations.

Competencies (attitude, skills, typical qualifications and experience):

Education and Experience

  • Preferably hold a Diploma 4 or Bachelor's degree, or a minimum of Diploma 3 in Electromedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • Having an active Professional License as Electromedics (STR) is a plus.
  • Possess 1-2 years of experience as a Technician in a Medical Devices company, or 3-6 months internship experience in a related field for fresh graduates.
  • Willing to be placed in any area where the company operates and needs.
