Authority Brands seeks a Technical SEO/GEO Manager to lead our technical SEO strategy across brand websites, focusing on AI-first readiness and performance across crawlability, schema, and tagging.

You will collaborate with content and development teams to optimize for human readers and AI models, improve Core Web Vitals, and drive measurable SEO results with Data Studio reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical SEO experience.
• Familiarity with AI search platforms and emerging optimization techniques.
• Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Data Studio.
• Proficient in Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Copilot or Claude.
• Franchise and/or home service marketing experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts ongoing technical SEO audits across consumer brand websites and prioritizes crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking and sitemaps.
• Owns implementation and maintenance of structured data and schema markup to maximize rich results and AI citations.
• Monitors brand visibility and leads across traditional and AI-generated search; tracks AI share of voice across LLMs.
• Serves as internal authority on AI search readiness; guides AI-first strategy.
• Partners with content and web teams to ensure copy is structured for humans and AI comprehension, with clear entities and sources.
• Oversees Core Web Vitals and page experience; improves LCP, CLS, and INP with web teams.
• Manages Google Tag Manager and tagging infrastructure; coordinates with analytics for accurate reporting.
• Manages Data Studio reports for brand teams; analyzes data to identify trends and opportunities.
