Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Technical Security Application Engineer, Secured Spaces, to design, commission, and maintain IDS and ACS across secured spaces. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technical Security Systems Architecture, this hands-on role requires deep expertise in ICD-705/IC Tech Spec and accreditation processes.

The successful candidate will coordinate with AO, CSSO, ISSM, and TEMPEST, manage lifecycle maintenance, and drive cutover from integrator to Anduril’s operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive security engineering experience in secure environments.
• Ability to implement ICD-705/IC Tech Spec guidelines for secured spaces.
• Experience with accreditation processes and final acceptance testing.
• Existing active SECRET clearance or eligibility.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design of IDS and ACS for new secured space projects.
• Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and gap analyses with corresponding drawings and submittals.
• Author and maintain technical standards, drawings, and BOMs for ICD-705 installations.
• Coordinate with AO, CSSO, ISSM, and TEMPEST authorities during commissioning and accreditation.
• Drive cutover from integrator to Anduril operations with documentation handover.
• Collaborate on semi-annual IDS test program and evidence collection.
• Investigate false alarms and drive root-cause analysis to resolution.
• Establish and operate a maintenance and SOP program for technical security systems.
• Ensure vendor accountability for as-built quality and encryption configurations.
