Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH seeks a senior laboratory leader to support and direct new test development within the clinical laboratory, including method evaluation, financial and compliance analysis, and test implementation.

The role leads system-wide initiatives, collaborates with vendors, IT, and biomedical engineering on instrument performance, and guides site leaders with education and troubleshooting while ensuring CAP/CLIA compliance across the network.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CAP, CLIA requirements and regulatory standards.
• Work Shift: Day (40 hours per week).
• Department Lab Administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical expertise and consultation across OhioHealth labs.
• Lead system-wide initiatives such as analyzer validations, go-lives, and connectivity upgrades.
• Collaborate with vendors, IT, and biomedical engineering on instrument performance and optimization.
• Guide site leadership with education, troubleshooting, and clear role delineation.
• Develop, review, and standardize technical procedures, validation protocols, and quality documents.
