Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required and ASCP certification; AMT certification considered equivalent to ASCP.
• Superior customer service skills are required.
• Experience in an automated clinical laboratory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• 55%: Complex analysis of body fluids and tissues; ensure data validity.
• 15%: Provide professional communication with clinicians, staff, and patients.
• 20%: Perform quality control, maintenance logs, and instrument performance reviews.
• 5%: Continuing education and competency maintenance; training of new staff.
• 5%: Miscellaneous duties with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
