Job summary

Flender seeks a Technical Sales Support Professional in Elgin, IL to provide technical and quotation support for gear units, couplings, spare parts and services across multiple markets. Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of sales / customer service / application engineering experiences or BS preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Technical Degree in related field.
• Ability to clarify technical and commercial requirements with customers.
• Ability to review and understand technical drawings/documents.

Responsibilities

• Technical and quotation sales support for Flender sales channels, including preparation and presentation of technical and commercial proposals.
• Review customer specs and offer gear units, couplings, spare parts or services for various markets.
• Resolve technical problems to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare internal quote/purchase order related documents for management approvals.
• Communicate with customers on product topics and coordinate with local or HQ teams.
• Support internal order management from a technical point of view.
