Position Summary:

The Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) will create and develop relationships with professional dealers, End Users, distributor personnel, Regional Landscape Accounts, and large end users such as municipalities, educational facilities, hospitality, etc. with the purpose of selling Greenworks Professional Outdoor Power Equipment and raising brand awareness within the commercial OPE segment. The TSS will report to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and work closely with the local Distributor Territory Managers (TM) to develop opportunities for new relationships, establish new commercial sales, and expand our professional dealer base. The TSS will play a key role in growth, development, and sales within the Professional Products category at Greenworks Tools. This position will collaborate with the Distributor Sales Team and serve as a liaison and resource for the Distributor Territory Managers and authorized Greenworks Commercial Dealers within their assigned geography.

The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge of professional handheld and wheeled outdoor power equipment. They should understand the channels listed within the job requirements and possess the sales skills necessary for success in these customer bases. Experience with independent servicing dealers and their role within the channel is essential.

Working independently and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders are critical to success in this role.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of this business segment and achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Ownership of company-issued demo equipment.
  • Conduct product training for Distributor Staff and Key Dealer personnel.
  • Prospect, lead, and acquire new accounts for Greenworks' distribution within these business areas.
  • Lead participation in tradeshows and key marketing events within the channel.
  • Develop new product launch initiatives within the assigned geography.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, and Field Sales.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Details:

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.

Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • At least 3 years of experience in OPE or OPE Parts Manufacturing
  • At least 3 years of field sales experience in the same industry
