Work Location: Remotely based in the San Francisco Bay Area
The Microscopy Technical Sales Representative II is a technical expert and solutions provider to our materials sciences customers. You will create complete microscopy solutions for customers across various industries and applications. Expertise in microscopy or similar technical products used by industrial customers is essential.
You will demonstrate equipment at customer facilities, showrooms, and virtually, developing a value proposition aligned with customer objectives. An entrepreneurial spirit is necessary to target, educate, and persuade customers to adopt Evident Scientific’s innovative solutions.
You will collaborate with other Evident technical experts and industry specialists to implement strategies and achieve success. Our products are recognized within key industries requiring high-quality, reliable instrumentation for critical applications. This position offers growth opportunities for ambitious individuals.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience: At least one year in capital equipment sales or similar fields; microscopy, optical metrology, or semiconductor sales experience is a plus.
Skills: Ability to learn instruments and software, understand manufacturing processes, succeed in B2B environments, deliver persuasive presentations, and use CRM tools. Must be self-motivated and able to travel approximately 50% within the territory.
