Job Title: Technical Sales Nutritionist

Location: Johnson Creek, WI

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Commodities Director and commercial sales team to provide nutritional expertise that drives customer success and business growth.
• Consult with nutritionists, producers, and commercial feed manufacturers to demonstrate product value, develop nutritional solutions, and support customer adoption.
• Identify and manage on‑farm feed trials, analyze and present performance data.
• Develop technical sales materials and provide nutritional guidance for product positioning and pricing strategies.
• Serve as the key liaison between customers and plant operations to support continuous product improvement.
• Represent the company at industry meetings and trade shows while monitoring market trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships throughout the nutrition and livestock industries.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Animal Nutrition, Ruminant Nutrition, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of ruminant ration formulation.
• Effective communicator capable of presenting technical information to producers, consulting nutritionists, and commercial customers.
• Self‑motivated professional with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives independently and within a collaborative commercial team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; willing to travel at least 30% throughout Wisconsin; valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Preferred: experience with distillers grains and other co‑products.
• Proficiency with ration formulation software such as CPM Dairy, NDS, or AMTS.
• Professional Animal Scientist (PAS) certification or progress toward certification.
• Experience in technical sales or the feed industry.
• Familiarity with dairy and livestock production systems in the Upper Midwest.
