Job summary

Meiden America, Inc. is seeking a Sales & Marketing professional to research North American market demand for Meiden products and services. You will coordinate marketing activities, prepare materials, and assist with media advertising while collaborating with engineers and sales staff.

Responsibilities include identifying prospects, presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and preparing contracts. Collaboration across the Meiden group is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four year college; mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
• Experience in or with a Japanese corporate environment is helpful.
• Experience in the automotive industry is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers via directories, leads, clubs, trade shows and conferences.
• Contact customers to introduce Meiden’s products and explain needs-fulfillment.
• Answer questions on products, prices, availability, and terms.
• Respond to RFQs, quote prices and bid specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering to tailor product selections to customer needs.
• Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing.
• Develop sales presentations describing product specs and benefits.
• Provide ongoing technical support and keep customers informed on delivery and warranties.
• Attend sales/trade meetings to monitor market conditions and trends.
