Job summary

The Richmond Group USA has been engaged to identify a Technical Sales Manager – North America for a global manufacturer of custom industrial radio remote controls and wireless control systems.

This hands-on sales role focuses on developing new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and collaborating with OEMs, distributors, and channel partners throughout North America to identify the right control solutions and build a strong pipeline of opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of technical sales experience; 5+ years preferred.
  • Proven success in B2B sales and new business development.
  • Industrial radio remote or wireless control experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling to OEMs, distributors, system integrators, or industrial customers.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand customer applications.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on sales role developing new business and expanding existing customer relationships across North America.
  • Work closely with OEMs, distributors, and channel partners to identify opportunities.

Technical Sales Manager – North America | Industrial Radio & Wireless Controls

The Richmond Group USA has been engaged to identify a Technical Sales Manager – North America for a global manufacturer of custom industrial radio remote controls and wireless control systems used across hydraulic equipment, industrial cranes, material handling, mobile machinery, and other demanding industrial applications.

Backed by a well-established European parent company with operations and distributors around the world, the North American business has maintained a strong U.S. presence for more than 30 years and is positioned for continued growth.

With additional production moving stateside, the company sees significant opportunity to expand market share by offering customers greater flexibility, competitive pricing, improved delivery, and cost-effective engineered solutions.

This is a hands-on sales role with responsibility for developing new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and working closely with OEMs, distributors, and channel partners throughout North America. You'll help customers identify the right industrial wireless control solutions for their applications while building a strong pipeline of new opportunities.
