Job summary

Allied Mineral Products in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for Ceramic Shapes to expand sales of Ceramic Shape and Injection Molded Core lines into Metals and Industrial markets across the Northern and Northeast US.

You will travel with sales teams, service accounts, prepare designs and quotes, and maintain detailed reports. A engineering background and 3–5 years in investment casting are preferred; willing to travel internationally and obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Ceramic or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in the investment casting industry.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (overnight stays, air travel, driving) and international travel; passport required.
• Must possess or obtain all required licenses and maintain security clearance eligibility.
• reside near Marysville, OH with frequent travel to Northern/Northeast US.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Allied Sales Reps, reps, distributors; travel as needed.
• Obtain competitive information to increase sales.
• Service accounts including design, installation, troubleshooting, and complaints.
• Assist in design and quotation processes for opportunities.
• Complete call reports with account details in SAP/C4C.
• Maintain presence in trade organizations and attend shows.
• Update management on competitive activity and sales records.
• Set territory goals and operate within budgets.
