M.C. Molds Inc. is seeking an Inside Technical Sales Representative to support the Director of Sales by handling quoting and estimating tasks. You will analyze RFQs, prepare estimates, and coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to deliver accurate quotations.

The role emphasizes collaboration across departments, ensuring proposals meet technical and cost requirements while maintaining profitability. Travel may be required to support customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, estimating, account management, project management, or another customer-facing role in a manufacturing, technical, or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments, tooling, machining, mold making, plastics processing, or related industries is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and/or 3D design files.
• Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Willingness to travel and hold a valid Driver’s License and Passport or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, customer documentation, and RFQs to prepare cost estimates for blow molds, complex parts, tooling, and assemblies.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Programming, Manufacturing, and Benching to gather technical input and estimated labor hours.
• Prepare quotations that reflect labor, materials, outside services, and technical requirements.
• Track incoming RFQs and ensure information is obtained to begin quoting.
• Coordinate internally to issue quotations within established timelines.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with customers throughout quoting.
