Job summary

Alltrista Plastics LLC seeks a Tooling Engineer to collaborate with Sales and Engineering to define mold requirements and select tooling solutions for new molds. You will lead mold design reviews, approve designs, and manage supplier quotes to support accurate part pricing.

The role includes implementing improvements to quoting processes, supporting FAT and IQ/OQ/PQ validations, and collaborating with Account Managers and Program Managers, with travel up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management or Mechanical Engineering (or foreign equivalent).
• Five years of plastics industry experience.
• Experience with tooling, injection molding, and process improvement.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales and Engineering to determine part design requirements and molding solutions.
• Lead mold design reviews and approve designs before mold builds.
• Source qualified suppliers and manage quotes for molds and machinery.
• Support FAT, IQ/OQ/PQ testing and validation activities.
• Assist Account Managers and Program Managers with technical execution.
• Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
