Amuneal Manufacturing Corporation in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a technically skilled Sales Engineer to act as the single point of contact for customers, guiding them through shielding design, cost estimation, and engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes building strong client relationships, translating complex technical details into clear guidance, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality shielding solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
Ability to read blueprints and understand fabrication specs.
Knowledge of magnetic shielding and materials science preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Experience in technical or engineering sales or customer service.
Outside sales experience with manufactured equipment or 5+ years as a specifying engineer.
Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
Ability to identify optimal manufacturing processes.
Detail-oriented with multi-project management.
Proficient in 3D CAD and Microsoft Office.
Able to adapt to changing market conditions.
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Foster strong relationships with internal engineering and fabrication teams.
Cultivate lasting customer relationships with effective communication.
Develop and grow customer accounts by finding new opportunities.
Follow up on quotations; provide technical guidance to customers.
Partner with customers to understand project requirements and shield solutions.
Translate complex technical info into customer-friendly language.
Develop detailed cost estimates for shielding projects.
Conduct feasibility assessments of RFQs and cost factors.
Update ERP with costing inputs; collaborate with production and operations.
Promote technical expertise and custom shielding solutions at visits and trade shows.
